Description
My path to creative discovery began with being awarded a three year art scholarship at the National Art College of Sydney. With my newly minted degree, I went straight into working in magazines as a designer and illustrator.
Moving to London after getting married, I worked in the same industry – albeit on a much faster, grander scale – magazines and book publishing.
On returning to Australia, I was excited to find an industry in growth, and used my experience to launch DOLLY, the first teenage magazine of its time, followed by Belle. Over the following years I stayed true to my calling and even throughout a break to start a family, I continued to illustrate books in gardening, travel, cookbooks and self sufficiency (which was all the go at the time!). One of my career highlights was working on Gourmet Traveller, still one of my favourites.
Making the sea change to the south coast of NSW has been an incredibly rewarding decision. Living here, inspiration is all around, from the natural beauty of the surrounding landscapes to the fauna that brings it to life. The trees and vines in my back garden are a perfect backdrop for a thriving community of birds that inspire me to pick up my brushes and paints.
I’ve never felt more creatively satisfied as I have in these past ten years.

WHY IS MARTINE GALLERY DIFFERENT?
Simply send us a front on photo (jpeg or PDF) of your wall space then tell us which artwork you’re considering and the size. We will then super impose the artwork onto your wall, allowing you to be totally sure that the artwork you’ve chosen is just right for your space.
WHEN PURCHASING ONLINE WILL THE PROPORTIONS OF AN ARTWORK CHANGE?
YES: When buying from the Collections Artworks the proportions will change with the dimensions. If you would like to see how they change prior to purchasing please contact us.

HOW MUCH IS FREIGHT?
Martine Gallery includes packaging and delivery cost in all online orders within Australia. For larger custom orders, we may suggest other freight alternatives and costings. This is worked out on a project-by-project basis. Price quoted includes GST.
DOES MARTINE GALLERY COLOUR MATCH?
YES – If you have a colour or fabric swatch you’d like to send us, we’ll do our very best to match it as close as possible.
COLOUR ACCURACY...
All computer monitors vary in colour therefore the printed artwork may vary slightly from what you have viewed on your monitor. We do not guarantee the reproduction of colours. If you’re concerned about colours, please order a small sample swatch printed on the actual canvas for a minimum cost. Please contact us for more information on ordering swatches.
WHAT IS DELIVERY TIME FOR ONLINE PURCHASES?
Turnaround time is 10-12 business days after payment has been made, (depending on where the delivery is to be made). Faster turnaround can be organised. Please contact info@martinegallery.com for a 3-5 business days turn around from the Collections Artworks.
WHERE DOES MARTINE GALLERY DELIVER TO?
We ship all over Australia. For delivery to other countries, please contact us and we will quote you on shipping and delivery time.
WHAT IS MARTINE GALLERY RETURN POLICY?
In the case of purchase of a physical product from this website which satisfies one or more of the following cases we will gladly arrange a refund or exchange the product:
The product proves faulty within 7 days of receiving the product and/or date of invoice
The product does not match its description as provided when sold
The product received is not the product ordered
The product has been damaged in transit
Please contact us immediately if any of the above occurs to arrange a return. Products returned without prior notice will be rejected.
Please ensure that returned products are safely packed in their original packaging. We will not be held liable for damage to products incurred during return shipping.
